Cards in Scandinavian Markets |

The countries of Scandinavia are often lumped together as if they were one homogenous market, though nothing could
be further from the truth. While the region does have some common characteristics, such as regional banks and cards
issuers, and low use of consumer credit, each market has its own unique flavour and consumer credit culture. In
general these markets are low users of non-mortgage credit, though in recent years this area has begun to show signs of
moderate growth.
