First Glimpse At 2007 North American IT Budgets PDF Print E-mail
Forrester recently surveyed IT executives at 700 North American enterprises as they entered the 2007 budgeting season. Overall, 32% of them report that they will have more to spend on IT in 2007 than in 2006 - especially firms with more than 20,000 employees. The remaining majority expects to hold steady, and only 10% of firms overall expects budget decreases. Centralized IT shops seem to be more conservative in their budget plans, while, surprisingly, firms with centralized vendor management functions are more likely to increase spending. http://www.forrester.com/Research/Document/Excerpt/0,7211,40386,00.html
