CONIX Systems has announced enhancements to its CONIX Integrated Payment System (CIPS), which lowers the cost of processing checks for banks using the IBM Check Processing Control System (CPCS).
CONIX Systems Inc., a leading international provider of payment processing solutions to the financial services industry, today announced enhancements to its CONIX Integrated Payment System (CIPS), which lowers the cost of processing checks for banks using the IBM Check Processing Control System (CPCS). CIPS is transition technology designed to allow banks to maximize their IP investment during the migration from CPCS to the next generation of check processing. Over the next five years, as banks transition from a paper-based processing system to an image processing system, CIPS is designed to improve the efficiency of their existing CPCS check systems. CIPS provides the ability to: - · Image enable the check processing environment
- · Automatically propagate balancing adjustments through kill and cash letters
- · Share human resources across the enterprise to work on time-sensitive balancing/settlement
- · Perform balancing and settlement at the point of the resource rather than at the capture site
- · Save critical time during the nightly cycle, which equates to money savings and processing advantages
- · Work in concert with the banks existing CONIX products including ORBS, TCM, CLAS, and SuPRRB.
