Mobile banking services supplier Mobe has selected mobile information management and delivery provider CellTrust’s Global SecureSMS Gateway for the transmission of SMS messages for payments, commerce and banking to and from its network of mobile bank account holders.

Via the SecureSMS Gateway, businesses can exchange critical information with customers on the mobile device. The message sender is able to confirm when text messages are delivered and/or read by means of an encrypted transfer process with no size limitations.

Mobe enables customers to send, receive and spend money from any location in the world. Mobe targets the unbanked, peer-to-peer money transfer, merchant services and global remittance domains. Consumers can transfer funds to their mobile phone, or someone else’s mobile phone, The mobe card, The Virtual Card, existing debit cards, and existing checking accounts.
