Electronic payment processing software provider Main Street Softworks has released Monetra version 7.0. The Monetra payment server software manages credit card, debit card, gift card and electronic benefit card transactions by means of retail point-of-sale and eCommerce systems. The software also enables electronic cheque verification and conversion with image upload for the Electronic Clearing House (ECHO) processing platform. Monetra is able to scale operations related to custom embedded devices and clustered server installations.

Monetra software was introduced in 2001 and is compliant with the security requirements in the payment card industry. Monetra version 7.0 is distributed and supported across operating systems, including Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, IBM AIX, Sun Solaris, Apple Macintosh OS X and Microsoft Windows platforms.
