Books, music and movies retailer Borders has selected the Bill Me Later alternative payment functionality for its e-commerce site. The initiative enables customers to make purchases online and by means of phone without sharing their credit card information. The site is also offering customers no payments for 90 days on purchases of USD 99 or more which are made with Bill Me Later. By implementing the Bill Me Later product suite, brands can make use of a set of technology options, including Bill Me Later, Bill Me Later Business, promotional financing and private label credit card programmes. Borders launched its own e-commerce website on May 2008, stepping away from a 7-year partnership with Amazon.com. |
