US provider of prepaid services NetSpend has partnered with payday loans supplier QC Financial to initiate a prepaid debit card programme. The prepaid reloadable debit cards will be available at nearly 90 percent of QC's 596 locations across 24 states. The cards will be issued by the federally-chartered savings bank MetaBank.

QC Holdings operates 596 branches across 24 states. During fiscal 2007, the company reported total revenues of USD 213.6 million. The NetSpend prepaid card network includes consumer brands and companies across the unbanked and underbanked markets. Its strategic relationships include card issuers, EFT networks and payment card associations.
