PayPoint launches new credit and debit deal to PayPoint retailers PDF Print E-mail

UK retail bill payment network PayPoint has signed a new credit and debit agreement with Lloyds. Under the new deal, retailers will only pay a maximum of 1.4 percent on credit card payments and 0.15 GBP on debit card payments.

According to PayPoint, credit and debit card users spend more money in-store than cash customers and retailers who offer this service usually see an increase in sales. PayPoint ads that retailers can also save on banking costs, as the more card transactions they take the less cash they have to bank. By using PayPoint Terminal, retailers can accept a wide range of payment services as well as offer credit and debit facilities and cash back.
