Equifax has completed the acquisition of a 28 percent equity stake in Russian credit information company Global Payments Credit Services (GPCS).

Equifax is acquiring its interest from Global Payments Europe, a subsidiary of Global Payments and Home Credit & Finance Bank of Russia. GPCS is to be re-branded 'Equifax' and Equifax will be held responsible for operations.
