Walt Disney Japan and credit card issuer JCB have partnered to roll out a co-branded credit card. Under the terms of the agreement, JCB is to develop and launch Japan's first Disney-branded credit card.

The initiative allows JCB cardmembers to have access to the Disney content on the internet in Japan. The two companies will accept applications for a co-brand credit card in Japan from selected customers, starting August 2008. Applications from the public are to be accepted beginning 18 November, 2008.
