Customers make use of a credit card to pay for items worth nearly USD 210 on average. The credit limit on the cards of most holders ranges between USD 640 and USD 2,120. The average credit card holder in Russia is female, aged 25-44, married, and has a university degree. The study also indicates that 40 percent of the mature population turns to banking services and 9.4 percent of that number are credit cardholders. When choosing a bank, consumers are influenced by factors including low interest rates, the bank's reputation and the number of the bank's offices.
