Western Union and JetBlue Airways team up for flight cash payment option PDF Print E-mail

Airline company JetBlue Airways has signed an agreement with global money transfer service provider Western Union to allow JetBlue customers who choose a cash payment option to pay for their flights at participating Western Union agents.

The partnership aims to provide JetBlue clients with a wider variety of payment options and set up a cash payment service conveniently situated in locations which Western Union customers already visit to pay their bills and purchase various other items.

Customers seeking to pay for their JetBlue reservation in cash can opt for it when they make their online booking on JetBlue’s website. Having done that, they can proceed to their local Western Union agent and pay for their flight. Western Union can then confirm the JetBlue reservation via a direct link to the airline company’s system until midnight of the day following the booking. Potential customers will also have to pay Western Union a service fee in cash.
