Israeli financial group Israel Discount Bank (IDB) teamed up with technology business solutions provider Infosys in order to expand its e-banking services for the corporate/SME retail banking business sector. Thus, IDB selected the Finacle e-banking platform developed by Infosys, which it intends to use as a basis for the launch of online banking products, as well as additional customer support services provided via mobile and Internet channels.

The implementation of the e-banking platform will be conducted by a partnership made up of Infosys and a second technology service provider, Israeli company Taldor. IDB representatives expressed their hopes of employing Finacle to improve their productivity and leverage mobile and Internet channels in order to accelerate the expansion of its corporate/SME retail banking business sector.
