IT software and service provider Larsen & Toubro Infotech (L&T Infotech) named Sudip Banerjee as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Banerjee, whose appointment is effective 1 September, takes charge of the IT service company’s growth plans and is expected to increase the impact of Infotech’s business-to-IT business approach.

Banerjee’s prior executive experience includes leading the Enterprise Solutions department at integrated business and technology provider Wipro, where he was in charge of expanding the company’s business portfolio. Prior to gaining a senior management position, his attributions as Wipro ranged from technology and infrastructure development to operations and business development. Banerjee will be based in Mumbai/Bangalore.
