US prepaid debit cards provider NetSpend teams with consumer financial services provider Axcess Financial to roll out the NetSpend Axcess Prepaid MasterCard and the NetSpend National Savings Programme across the country. The reloadable prepaid debit card is to be made available via Axcess Financial's distribution channels.

The two companies launched a pilot programme on 25 August 2008, offering customers at 200 Check 'n Go locations across Ohio, Tennessee, Michigan and Kentucky access to Axcess Card and the NetSpend National Savings Programme. The programme is to be expanded to the remaining locations across US by the end of 2008, according to state laws and regulations.
