Norwegian provider of online banking services EDB Business Partner reveals mobile banking usage in Norway has jumped by 50 percent in July, compared to the average of the first five months of the year.
The company says the improvement in mobile banking usage can be explained by the fact that people travelled more during the holiday months and were bound to pay their bills using their mobile phones instead of their PC. In the next three to four years, EDB expects to see the majority of banking customers embrace mobile banking as an addition to their internet banking service. EDB’s mobile banking service offers balance checks, recent transaction history and fund transfers between accounts. |
