US-based payment services provider Element Payment Services has rolled out Hosted Payments service that provides software vendors with an alternative to Payment Application Data Security Standards (PA-DSS) compliance. PA-DSS aims to eliminate the use of vulnerable payment application and ensure a secure environment for accepting cardholder data.

With the help of Hosted Payments, the software vendor's application gathers non-sensitive data required for a payment transaction and Element is to be held responsible for handling sensitive cardholder data.Element Payment Services has developed two options for Hosted Payments, one that includes a version for distributed applications and one for web-based software applications. Both solutions seamlessly integrate with all types of business management software applications. Hosted Payments service is integrated with Element's PCI DSS compliant Express Processing Platform.
